We decided to do fostering as like many others, we as a family wanted to make a difference to someone’s life… Since joining Clifford House Fostering we have been given extensive training and support from the Fostering team, and also from carers who have been supportive and friendly.
Clifford house is not just a business, it is a sanctuary for help, guidance, nurturing and offers such a supportive community. Since joining as new foster careers we have been so welcomed by everyone. We have completed so many courses and attended many meetings with continued educational and emotional support, this support never runs out.
We have learnt to build trusting relationships with the children and that takes time….We feel that it is really important that children placed with us are part of the family, and we always make sure this happens.
