We’ve carefully selected a small team of fantastic staff members, all of whom are incredibly hard-working and dedicated to ensuring that you, the children you care for and every member of your family is supported while fostering. Our small team means that you’ll get to know everyone who works at Clifford House on a personal level, ensuring that you receive support specially tailored for your fostering family’s unique circumstances.
Though we’re only a small team, Clifford House is part of Polaris, a large UK community of children’s service providers. With the support of Polaris we have a huge range of resources available to families and children, and we’re proud to work together to change lives of children in the West Midlands and beyond.

Our Local Authority Partners
At Clifford House we work in close partnership with a wide range of Local Authorities to provide the very highest standards of care for children. We have Local Authority partners across the West Midlands, including in Birmingham, Staffordshire, Dudley, Telford, Wrekin, Sandwell, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Solihull, Coventry and Warwickshire.
We also work across the Worcestershire area, with our local office in Bromsgrove.
Our Support
We provide 24/7 support for our foster families. It’s our aim to be responsive to the needs of every child, foster parent and family member, ensuring that everyone’s voice is heard. The holistic support services and rewards we offer make sure everyone who fosters for us has the resources they need to rise to the challenge, and include:

Our Training
The high-quality training provided by Clifford House is an essential component of your journey to becoming a foster parent. We take a trauma-informed approach to parenting, and our unique training programme with give you all the information and skills you need to care for and nurture the growth of children who have endured adverse childhood experiences.
We also provide ongoing training and development for foster parents via ongoing and accessible online training opportunities which ensure that our foster parents are equipped to provide children with the highest standards of care.

Quality Assurance
We have developed our own unique quality assurance system, which not only meet the standards of Ofsted commissioning teams and placing authorities, but also create a culture where children can develop relationships of genuine trust with their foster parents and our small staff team.
This means that children will be safe, secure and looked after to a high standard. We use a range of tools including self-evaluation surveys, questionnaires, unannounced monitoring visits and target audits to ensure that we are continuously evaluating our services and making improvements to improve outcomes for children.
